Hello! My Name is Charles. I have been a pilot for over 30 years and during that time have built over 14000 hours of flight experience. An ATP with 6 type rating I am also a Certiified Flight Instructor (CFI), CFII and MEI. During my career I have held the position of Chief Flight Instructor (Part 141), Competency, Proficiency and Line Check Airman in jets (Part 135), Part 135 Chief Pilot, Director of Operations and VP of Flight Operations. A hiring manager and managing pilot for the past 15 years I am uniquely qualified to write, advise, instruct and comment on the subject matter in this website.
